Cranking by hand has come to an end: AL-KO Vehicle Technology now offers even more convenience with its new electrical support system for caravans. The UP4 can be quickly and conveniently operated by remote control. The system weighs just 17.7 kilogrammes more than the AL-KO Premium supports with AL-KO Big Foot support foot. This makes AL-KO UP4 one of the lightest systems on the market. The supports are available from March 1st, 2018.

The support system guarantees optimum stability and high stability whatever the terrain due to its high quality premium supports fitted with the Big Foot support foot – also for large caravans with a permissible total weight of up to 2.5 tonnes. As a leading chassis manufacturer, AL-KO has also thought of details such as solid reinforcement parts. The automatic system is quickly installed and has a space-saving design. In the event of an emergency – e.g. in the case of a discharged battery – an emergency manual unlocking device is available. The highlight: UP4 is fully compatible with the AL-KO Ranger manoeuvring drive. This means: Just a single remote control is required for the two systems. The flick of a switch is enough to select whether the supports or the manoeuvring drive are/is controlled.         

The advantages of AL-KO UP4 at a glance:

• Quick: The system surpasses any crank support in terms of speed. The caravan stands quickly and safely on the ground – and the holiday can begin!
• Convenient and practical: The system can be extended, adjusted and retracted completely by remote control. Bending or even kneeling in the dirt are a thing of the past, just like the annoying search for the hexagonal bolts of the corner steadies to attach the crank rod.
• Stable: Uneven ground is electrically compensated. The Big Foot support foot is included – just like the high-quality Premium supports.
• Intelligent: UP4 and Ranger make an ideal combination. Parking and manoeuvring with just one remote control
• Theft protection: A special adapter for the spindle prevents any undesired manual resetting.

The support system is available for 1,099 Euro (RPP) – plus mounting and battery if not already installed. At the start of the market and season, an attractive bundle package – AL-KO UP4 and Ranger manoeuvring drive – is offered at a special price.
