The fully automatic AL-KO HY4 levelling system will also be available in Europe from April 2019 for the new model generation of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (VS 30). The initial release will be for the Sprinter models with the AL-KO chassis and SLC chassis. Following the development of successful solutions for the Fiat equipped with the AL-KO chassis, the Fiat original chassis and Fiat van, another variant of the system is now being launched on the market which will be presented for the first time at the CMT 2019 trade fair. The proven and highly successful concept employing a unique, decentralised hydraulic solution has also been retained in this fourth version; the only adaptation is the connection to the Sprinter.

A separate, autonomous assembly for each leg

The basic idea behind AL-KO HY4 that is also used for the Sprinter version: Each of the four steady legs has its own autonomous assembly. This saves costly installation of hydraulic hoses along the entire length of the chassis and avoids the loss of storage space in the body. The total weight of the support system - about 65 to 70 kilograms extra weight - is also distributed evenly between the front and rear axles. Because all components of the winter-proof system are protected in the chassis, the risk of leaks or even oil contamination in the body is also excluded.

Levelling in just one minute

The AL-KO HY4 control is intuitive and easy to use via the remote control with easy-to-understand buttons in the driver's cab. In addition, two additional functions can be freely programmed: your personal sleeping position and the tilt for emptying the waste water tank. Once purchased, the system can be easily reconfigured when you change vehicles – so your new motorhome is also stable. AL-KO HY4 features the excellent AL-KO quality, it is durable, maintenance-free, quiet – and quick. AL-KO HY4 automatically levels the vehicle in just one minute.From summer 2019 AL-KO HY4 will also be available for the Mercedes-Benz-Sprinter Van and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter variants with original chassis (for rear, front and all-wheel drive). Installation of the AL-KO HY4 levelling system is possible at trained and certified AL-KO dealers – or directly at the AL-KO customer centres.
