Freshly introduced for Ford Westfalia Nugget and Ford Tourneo Custom in January 2018, SAWIKO now launches the AGITO Van version of the rear bicycle carrier for the Fiat Ducato van. The new product will celebrate its premier at the CMT 2019 trade fair in Stuttgart, where this AGITO Van variant will be presented to the public for the first time.
Rear carrier systems have always been part of SAWIKO's core product portfolio - and all of the previous solutions have integrated numerous comfortable and practical functions. This also applies to the new Van rear-mounted bicycle carrier, the first version of which was designed for Ford Westfalia Nugget and Ford Tourneo Custom. With a payload of 60 kilograms for the basic version, the Fiat Ducato version of the AGITO Van carrier is also designed to transport 2 bicycles. The swivel arm is particularly practical. This makes it easy to swing the carrier to the side even when loaded. This ensures free access to the rear door at all times. When not loaded, the 13 kilogram lightweight transport bridge can be folded upwards to save space. If the carrier is not needed, it can be completely dismantled quickly and without tools.
The rear carrier can be configured with a variety of conversion kits to meet individual requirements. This enables the carrier to be upgraded to transport three bicycles. Alternatively, a transport box can be mounted. A fixed or removable towing hitch can be retrofitted to the base cross beam. An optional electric kit is also available.
The AGITO Van carrier for Fiat Ducato vans will be available from specialist dealers or directly from the three customer centres from March 2019. The price for the basic version of the AGITO Van carrier with a modification kit for two bicycles costs 1,395 Euro (also applies to Ford Westfalia Nugget and Tourneo Custom).
